Sarah Trevor uses her life in the boreal forest beside Amisk Lake
Saskatchewan, and the years leading up to it in Africa, as sources for
creations both literary and painterly. Finding each other in the dying
time is a memoir inspired by her twenty-year kayak exploration of Amisk
Lake which became a meditative exploration of both personal losses and
the dramatic death throes of major world empires during her formative
years.
